About
Every year we create a community within a community in the form of the Innovators Club. Alongside a structured 10-week programme of workshops, mentoring and events, it gives early-stage life science founders a space to meet others tackling similar hurdles.
The products differ — the developmental challenges rarely do. We call it a network accelerator for a reason: participants leave with an expanded network and meaningful relationships that compound long after the cohort ends.
What you get

Essential topics including IP, grant funding, raising investment, branding, pitching, strategic leadership, and R&D tax and insurance.

Each cohort company is paired with a relevant investor for a no-detriment session offering invaluable feedback on proposition, deck and pitching style.

Each company is interviewed by one of our Science Writers to produce a bespoke Startup Spotlight article shared across our channels to 8,000+ followers.

At the end of the programme, each cohort company presents a rapid-fire pitch to the 400+ members of the BioCapital Network.

The programme concludes in time for the SEC Summit — a high-impact platform to engage with leading investors, industry stakeholders and ecosystem partners across the UK life sciences ecosystem.

"The workshops with investors provided invaluable feedback on our business plan, approach and pitches. We can't overstate the importance of participating in a live pitch event before fundraising."
