Salary: Voluntary

Time Commitment: c. 2 hours per week; may increase during programme delivery timeframe (10-weeks between September and November)

The Science Entrepreneur Club is a not-for-profit organisation on a mission to connect the early-stage life science ecosystem through community-building, events and content.

‍

Each year, we run the Innovators Club, a 10-week pre-accelerator programme for a select number of early-stage life science start-ups. To date, we have delivered five cohorts with 28 alumni companies going on to raise over £60m in funding post-programme.

‍

The programme entails 10 sessions (including relaxed socials and expert-led workshops), 1-to-1 investor conversations, a bespoke Startup Spotlight article and the opportunity to pitch to the BioCapital Network.

This year, we will be delivering Cohort VI from September to November.

‍

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to take the lead on running this year’s programme, working alongside a Programme Coordinator and working closely with existing SEC team members who have delivered previous cohorts.

‍

What you will do:

• Lead planning and organisation of Innovators Club Cohort VI programme (April to September)
• Support screening and selection of Cohort VI participants
• Execute delivery of 10 sessions during 10-week programme (September to November)
• Be point of communication for participating cohort companies throughout programme
• Potential to support in securing sponsorship
