Building a start-up is no mean feat. So we’re on a mission to build a collaborative and supportive peer group exclusively for early-stage life science founders in the UK. The BioFounder Club aims to provide a safe space for founders to share advice, discuss their challenges and concerns and develop meaningful relationships. Meet-ups are held quarterly for members only.

During this workshop, we open up the discussion with Entrepreneur First. We will be discussing why founding a company is the most ambitious thing you can do with your career and why in 2021, the scale, scope, and cost of launching your own startup has never been more attractive. We'll also feature examples of companies primarily in the Life Sciences sector and talk briefly about the key next steps you might want to take to get started.

We are opening up the discussion with SEC members and alumni working in different industries - from biotech companies, to science entrepreneurs, start-up founders and many more. Our speakers will present their exciting stories of how SEC helped them in their new roles and how they started their journeys in the business world.
